Montenegrin Guitar Duo (Goran Krivokapić and Danijel Cerović) caught the attention of international audiences and critics with their historically informed performances of J. S. Bach's English Suites in a new, fresh approach on two guitars.
Their repertoire includes the transcriptions of renaissance and baroque music and original compositions dating from the 19th and 20th century, with a special emphasis on the contemporary music originally written for two guitars as well as improvisation. Polish contemporary composer Gerard Drozd dedicated his concerto for two guitars and string quartet to the duo, as well as his "Homage to Bach" suite Op. 150. Other composers that wrote for the duo include Gustav Eichelberger and Krstyun Wrtoszlavsky. Award-winning classical guitarist Jakob Bangsø is quickly establishing himself as one the most engaging young instrumentalists in Denmark. A sought-after musician, he appears in solo recitals and in chamber settings in addition to frequently concertizing as an orchestral soloist. His repertoire is vast and constantly expanding and includes early music works to freshly composed music by living composers.
A top prize winner in prestigious international guitar competitions around Europe, he won the 1st Prize in the Berlin International Guitar Competition (Germany), 1st Prize at the XV Concours International de Guitare d'Antony (France), 1st Prize at the International Guitar Competition Nordhorn (Germany), 2nd Prize at the IV Concurso Internacional de Guitarra de Sevilla (Spain), 3rd Prize at the XII International Guitar Competition "José Tomás" in Petrer (Spain) among many others [...] |

Trio Tangere is an exciting new ensemble with the uncommon combination of two guitars and violin.
The three members, Marc Djokic, violin, Jérôme Ducharme and Louis Trépanier, guitars, were already established virtuosi when they started performing together; from the first notes of the first rehearsal, they knew they had a magical simpatico in their playing. This ensemble performs exciting repertoire from the select body of works already in existence for this instrument grouping, as well new commissions and transcriptions [...] |
GFA winner Thibaut Garcia

Born in Toulouse in France, Thibaut Garcia begins to play the guitar at the age of seven. His Spanish origins give him a real influence in his way of thinking. He studied in Toulouse where he got his chamber music diploma in the class of Renaud Gruss, and his guitar diploma with the honour mention in the class of Paul Ferret. At sixteen he enters the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) ans studies with Olivier Chassainwith whom he got his bachelor with the honours. He studies in private lessons with Judicael Perroy.
He won the 1st prize of the Guitar Foundation of America 2015. The GFA competition is one of the the most prestigious and respected event in the classical guitar world (more than 50 concerts to win in USA, recital at Carnegie Hall, Naxos recording, GHA recording, Mel BAY collaboration) [...] |
